Kitsap County Sheriff bodycam footage shows missing child beings recovered, suspect arrest

The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office has released the body camera footage of the arrest of Shannon Isbell and recovery of the missing 4-year-old. Isbell had allegedly taken her child on Sunday morning, April 7, from a home in Bremerton.

The video shows Deputy Josh Buonvino approach the silver-colored SUV on a gravel road. As Deputy Buonvino began talking with Isbell, she started the vehicle and tried to drive away.

Buonvino was able to grab Isbell’s left arm and get the vehicle turned off. After a short struggle, Buonvino was able to turn off the vehicle and get Isbell out of the SUV.

She was placed into handcuffs and put into the back of the patrol vehicle.
