A woman and her boyfriend in Texas are accused of killing her parents and dumping their bodies in a ravine.

Authorities stopped the vehicle to check on Rehbein, but ultimately found the suspects, 29-year-old Cassandra Lange and 30-year-old Joby Williams, along with two children in the car.

Deputies responded to a welfare check on April 8 after Stephen Rehbein failed to report to work.

When deputies arrived at the home around 1 p.m., no one answered when they tried to make contact, but they saw evidence indicating possible foul play, the sheriff’s office said.

Investigators were called to the scene and found additional evidence suggesting a crime had occurred. They obtained a search warrant and gathered information identifying vehicles belonging to Rehbein.

Investigators found one of the vehicles traveling in the Corpus Christi area.

During an interview with investigators, Lange allegedly confessed that she and her boyfriend had killed her mother and stepfather and disposed of their bodies in a ravine.

Investigators immediately began searching the area and found two large black garbage bags hidden in a deep ravine.

The suspects were taken into custody.
