The U.S. Marshals Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force catches some of the most violent, wanted fugitives in the state.

They often arrest fugitives from other states as well and that happened last night at a motel in Sapulpa.

They arrested Daryl King, who was wanted in Luneburg County, Virginia.

They say he broke into his ex-girlfriend’s house, demanded sex and when she refused, he beat her with a pistol, raped her and told her not to tell anyone.

They say King fired two rounds from the pistol into the dresser to show he meant business.

They say the victim received a threatening phone call from King several days later and was able to tell law enforcement he was at a motel in Guymon, OK.

He was able to get away before local law enforcement could arrest him.

The U.S. Marshals Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force tracked King down to a motel in Sapulpa and arrested him when he walked out onto a 2nd floor balcony.

King had checked into the hotel with a fake name, using a fake Oklahoma driver’s license.
They say his family members and friends had been helping him hide.

He’s now in the Tulsa County jail on the Virginia charges of aggravated assault by strangulation, malicious wounding, rape and having a gun as a felon.
