Battlestar Galactica star Tricia Helfer, 52, launches OnlyFans page: ‘I’m tired of being told what to do’
Tricia, firmly in her Second Act, previously told fans that her content will be a mix of selfie pictures and videos, professional photography, and livestreams, and insists it will be higher-end in keeping with her brand.
“I’ve been focused on what I should do and shouldn’t do…and now I’m ready to just be me. So come on in to see the more personal, silly, sexy, kickass tomboy sides of myself,” Tricia’s bio reads.
“Exclusive photos and videos, direct chats with fans, and unfiltered glimpses behind the scenes. I’m in my take charge era!”
“At my age, I am in my ‘do what I want’ phase of life,” the actress has revealed. “I’m tired of being told what to do and how to do it. I’m looking at it as something to have fun with and something that I can be in control of.”
A six-month subscription costs $70 plus tax, however, Tricia says she will donate part of her earnings to various animal charities. A cause close to her heart, she has been a supporter of organizations like PETA and Best Friends Animal Society.
“I’m keeping with my brand — albeit the sexier side of my brand,” Tricia told People. “It’ll be a mix of artistic shots with great photographers and pictures and videos of quiet and silly times at home feeding my goats or weeding my garden. I posted a picture [recently] of me out in my garden watering my plants and I had my work boots on, but it was hot outside so I was in a bikini.”
OnlyFans does not publicly release data, yet industry estimates indicate over 15% of all users are 55 or older.
Other stars in their 50s who have accounts include Shannon Elizabeth, Denise Richards, and Carmen Electra, all of whom maintain that the decision gives them financial autonomy as well as control of their own narratives outside of traditional Hollywood structures, which notoriously suffer from ageism.
