Reyna Nguyen quit her Only Fans for her medical career: $1.5 million
A Sydney-based adult creator pulling in more than $1.5 million a year has revealed plans to turn her back on her lucrative online empire to pursue a career in medicine.
Reyna Nguyen studied bio-engineering with a premed concentration at university and was preparing for the medical entrance exam before putting her dreams on hold when her online sex career exploded.
“In my current job, there’s no switch. Content, ad management, flags, editing, strategy, and networking are always in motion, and I’m solely responsible for all of it,” Ms Nguyen told news.com.au.
“Even on a weekend away or an evening at night when I’m just trying to relax, part of my brain is still working.
“Medicine is demanding, too, but it comes with structure and a clear role, which neither of those do I have right now.”
She regularly works 10 to 14-hour days managing teams, writing scripts, and filming massive volumes of content.
“I would wake up, get ready and then I have to make 20 TikTok videos, and they all have to be new. Then it’s admin work, checking emails, talking to assistants and management,” she revealed.
“Last week on a collab trip, I worked 16-hour days, and that’s with my assistant’s help.
“Early on, I slept about four hours a night trying to do everything myself.”
On top of the brutal hours, Ms Nguyen pointed to the deep financial anxiety caused by the volatility of earning a living on social media.
