Recall of Blackstone Parmesan Ranch seasoning U.S. Food and Drug Administration

Walmart has announced a nationwide recall of a food item due to a possible infection risk, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Blackstone Products of Providence, Utah, is voluntarily recalling three lots of its Parmesan Ranch seasoning as the products may be contaminated with salmonella.

“Salmonella is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems,” the FDA alert states.

Healthy individuals infected with salmonella often experience fever, nausea, vomiting, bloody diarrhea and abdominal pain.

The affected 7.3-ounce seasonings were sold nationwide exclusively through Walmart stores and on the Blackstone Products website.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the product, according to the FDA notice.

The recall is strictly limited to Blackstone Parmesan Ranch, lot numbers 2025-43282, 2025-46172 and 2026-54751.
