According to a press release from the Hobart-Lawrence Police Department, officers responded to a disturbance complaint involving Jacobs on Saturday, May 23. Following an active investigation, Jacobs turned himself in and was booked into the Brown County Jail.

Jacobs is currently facing five criminal charges stemming from the incident:

Battery – Domestic Abuse
Strangulation and Suffocation
Intimidation of a Victim
Criminal Damage to Property – Domestic Abuse
Disorderly Conduct – Domestic Abuse

Through his attorney, Jacobs has denied all allegations made against him.
