He Stole Cash App Money. Hours Later, He Was Found Dismembered.
Investigators responded to a trailer home in Midland, Texas after a witness reported seeing a murder inside the residence. Upon arrival, deputies began investigating claims that a man had been beaten, stabbed, and dismembered inside the home.
The victim has not yet been publicly identified.
According to investigators, a witness told police the victim had been involved in a dispute over money allegedly stolen from a Cash App account.
Authorities said the witness claimed 39-year-old Sandra Ramos picked him and the victim up from a hotel before bringing them to the trailer, where multiple people were allegedly using methamphetamine and partying.
Investigators said the witness later told deputies Ramos contacted another person through FaceTime and discussed assaulting the victim.
According to the arrest affidavit, another individual later arrived at the trailer disguised with a bandana, sunglasses, and a hat.
The witness claimed Ramos then held him at gunpoint while the victim was beaten with a baseball bat and stabbed.
Authorities said the victim’s body was later placed inside a large wheeled storage tote.
Investigators stated the witness told deputies Ramos forced him at gunpoint to shower, change clothes, and help attempt to dismember the body using a hacksaw.
According to police, the witness eventually escaped the trailer and contacted family members for help.
Investigators initially responded to the home, but no one answered the door. Authorities later contacted Ramos, who agreed to meet deputies at the residence but never arrived.
On May 13, 2026, investigators returned to the trailer and located a black wheeled storage bin inside the master bathroom.
According to deputies, a portable air conditioning unit was blowing directly toward the container and two silver pots filled with water were positioned nearby.
Investigators said they opened the tote and discovered what appeared to be dismembered human remains inside.
Ramos was later arrested and charged with first-degree murder. She is currently being held on a $2 million bond.
