Couple was discovered dead inside their home in suburban Wheeling
A couple was discovered dead inside their home in suburban Wheeling on Thursday evening, prompting an investigation.
Around 5:42 p.m., someone went to check on the residents at a home in the 300 block of 12th Street and discovered two dead bodies, according to police.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified the victims as Russell O’Connor, 44, and Marisa Dister, 46. Wheeling police stated that the couple had a “strained domestic relationship.”
Police said they discovered a gun near their bodies.
Wheeling police stated that there is no threat to the public.
