A man has been arrested after Secret Service officers discovered multiple firearms inside a stolen vehicle parked near the White House in Washington, D.C.

According to federal authorities, Ronny Guanipa-Chrinos, a Venezuelan national, was found sitting inside a Ford F-150 on Constitution Avenue shortly before midnight Thursday, November 5.

Investigators reportedly recovered three firearms from the vehicle, including an AR-15 rifle, a MAC-10 machine pistol, and a Glock handgun, along with dozens of rounds of ammunition.

The Department of Homeland Security alleges that Guanipa-Chrinos made statements about wanting to kill President Donald Trump. However, those alleged threats were not included in the criminal complaint affidavit.

Authorities also confirmed that the vehicle had been reported stolen.

Guanipa-Chrinos faces multiple charges, including unauthorized use of a vehicle, receiving stolen property, and firearms violations.

He appeared in D.C. Superior Court on Friday, November 6, and remains held without bond.
