The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation confirmed on Saturday that four individuals were in custody. The identities of those arrested were not yet released.

A spokesperson for OSBI said charges are pending.

Veronica Butler, 27, was headed to Texas County to pick up her children. Jillian Kelley, 39, was in the car with her, but the two never showed up. Authorities later found the car they were traveling in abandoned, and OSBI said the case was suspicious.

While the arrests have been made, the women are still missing, according to OSBI.

KOCO 5 will provide more details as they become available.
