$4 million worth of cocaine seized from Indianapolis-bound semi trailer.
Indiana State Police tell us a trooper stopped the semi Sunday along I-70 in Putnam County.
The driver, Harpreet Singh, allegedly told police he was transporting an empty trailer from Memphis, TN to Indianapolis.
State Police impounded the trailer and troopers searched it, reported finding 277 pounds of packaged cocaine stuffed into duffle bags.
We’re told the estimated street value of the seized cocaine is approximately 3.8 million dollars.
Singh was arrested and taken to the Putnam County Jail.
You might remember, last December, Whiteland Police set the state record for largest cocaine bust at $16 million.
The drugs were destroyed.
