A 27-year-old mother of two was fatally stabbed while on her shift as a waitress at a chili restaurant and her ex has been arrested and charged in connection with her death.

She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she died. She has been identified as 27-year-old Alyssa Hill.

Hill, affectionately known as “Ally,” is being remembered through countless online messages as a hardworking and devoted mother who loved everyone unconditionally.

“She was always polite like the rest of the team members. Everybody here is polite, everybody is family friendly,” Michael Cook, a customer, said.

Sarah McMahon from the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office described Hill as “a mother, she’s a daughter, she was a co-worker and friend.”

Those who knew Hill are focusing on the kindness she showed both at work and in her personal life.

“No matter how strange the order was she still wrote it down and she still delivered. Any other restaurant may have given side eye, there’s nothing like that here. Everyone is awesome,” Cook said.

The man accused of killing Hill is 37-year-old Rick Wright.

Court documents say Wright was an ex-boyfriend of Hill’s.

According to court documents, Wright had a warrant for his arrest after he violated probation from an assault charge dating back to February of last year.
