The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Tiance Combs and Kortney Alford in Lexington, Kentucky. They are two of the three suspects accused in the brutal point-blank shooting of Trey Iles, who miraculously survived being shot 15 times.

On May 9, 2026, 24-year-old Trey Iles was shot 15 times near East 10th Street and Monmouth Street in Newport, Northern Kentucky. The attack happened outside a Circle K after an argument ensued.

Investigators used license plate readers to track the suspects’ vehicle down to Lexington. Federal marshals located and apprehended Combs, 30, and Alford, 30, inside a home without incident.

Warrants have been issued for the suspects including attempted murder, complicity to attempted murder, and facilitation of attempted murder.

Trey Iles survived injuries to his throat, arm, and ankles. He is currently hospitalized at the University of Cincinnati Hospital and is facing a long road to recovery.

Terry Moses, 26, remains a fugitive and is considered armed and dangerous.
