Arkansas -TRAIL SHOOTING: The Fayetteville Police Department is investigating a shooting into an occupied residence from the trail last night.
Several calls came in around 7:57PM reporting what sounded like automatic gunfire near 650 Poplar St, around mile marker 3.39 of the trail.
Evidence was collected and the investigation is ongoing.
Nobody inside the residence was injured.
We urge the residents of Fayetteville to follow safety practices along the trail.
