According to Chicago police, a man was shot on a Grand Crossing sidewalk Wednesday morning.
The victim, a 40-year-old man, was walking down the 7900 block of South Ingleside Avenue when a red Kia pulled up next to him and someone inside began shooting at him.
According to police, the victim was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition, with a gunshot wound to the leg.
There have been no arrests reported. Area Two detectives are looking into it.
