UPDATE: A teen is facing a capital murder charge in connection to a deadly shooting that happened back in June in Birmingham.
Investigators said the victim, Claude Alamin Jones, 20, was riding his bike on June 12th on Center Street S.W. when he was approached by someone and they got into some sort of altercation.
Authorities told us the gunman fired shots striking Jones. He died at the scene. Court documents show Martez Dejaun Jones, 19, has been charged with capital murder.
He’s in the Jefferson County Jail facing other charges as well.
