A airline confirmed one of its flight attendants died during a layover in Hawaii, police say
Southwest Airlines confirmed on Monday that one of its flight attendants died during a layover in Hawaii.
The flight attendant was identified as 50-year-old Jennifer Lupton, and the Honolulu Police Department confirmed they are investigating the incident as an unattended death.
According to the Honolulu Police Department, the unattended death investigation was opened Aug. 20 in Waikiki.
The GoFundMe, started by one of Lupton’s coworkers, says all donations are going to support Lupton’s family as they navigate everything that comes with losing a loved one.
“No amount is too small. Every dollar, every share, every prayer, and every act of kindness means something,” the GoFundMe reads. “Maybe you knew Jenny personally. Maybe you worked with her. Or maybe you simply understand what it means when our work family comes together for one of our own. This is our chance to show Jenny’s family they are surrounded by love.
