15-year-old arrested after randomly shooting two women he never met, killing one of them
The teen was apparently carrying his mom’s obituary when he opened fire on two women walking into a liquor store on Detroit’s east side last Friday. Reports say he had never spoken to the women before the shooting but police have not released that information.
The shooting was caught on security video from inside the liquor store near Warren and Chalmers on Detroit’s east side.
A 57-year-old woman was killed and her niece is in critical condition. After Detroit Police put out his picture to the public he was taken into custody Sunday. Charges are pending.
