A woman was shot while driving in the Back of the Yards neighborhood early Wednesday.
According to police, the 26-year-old was driving a vehicle in the 4900 block of South Winchester Avenue shortly after midnight when gunfire erupted and struck her in the arm.
Paramedics transported her to Holy Cross Hospital, where she was listed in fair condition.
As Area One detectives conduct their investigation, no one is in custody.
