Tuesday night, a woman was found shot to death inside an apartment in Chicago’s Woodlawn neighborhood.
According to police, the 25-year-old was found inside a first-floor apartment with a gunshot wound to the face around 10:30 p.m. on the 6500 block of South Greenwood Avenue. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has yet to reveal her identity.
No one is in custody, and Area One detectives are investigating the shooting.
