Two women were shot while driving in Chicago’s Lawndale neighborhood on Monday morning.
According to police, the women, both 30, were inside a vehicle traveling westbound in the 4200 block of West Roosevelt Road around 2:51 a.m. when gunfire erupted.
One of the women was shot multiple times in the body, while the other was shot in the knee.
They drove themselves to Stroger Hospital, where they were both listed as being in critical and stable condition, respectively.
As Area Four detectives conduct their investigation, no one is in custody.
