Shooting investigation continues that occurred on intersection of State Road

RawNews1st – At approx. 5:00 a.m. on September 18, 2022, a shooting occurred near the intersection of State Road 52 and Colony Rd. in New Port Richey.
The victim was believed to have been walking along the south side of the road when he entered the woods and was shot by an unknown suspect. The victim, Marcus Marquis, 25 years old, died as a result of the injuries he sustained.
Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay, Inc. is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspect(s) involved in this case.
Anyone with any information regarding the identity of the suspect(s) and who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).
