Two people are dead, and one is injured after a shooting at Fairlane Town Center in Dearborn Friday afternoon.
The shooting happened at around 1:30 p.m. on July 3 at the mall near Evergreen Road and Michigan Avenue.
According to Dearborn police in a media briefing, three people were shot inside the mall. One person died at the scene and one died at a local hospital. The extent of the injuries for the third victim is not clear.
The victims ranged in age from the late teens to the early 20s.
Michigan State Police Specialist Lt. Tyhrann Howard says the agency is assisting with the investigation and referred questions to the Dearborn police.
