Putin: Russia-Belarus joint military exercises planned for 2022
Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced plans to hold drills in Belarus in February-March next year, during bilateral talks with counterpart Aleksandr Lukashenko.
Minsk and Moscow have also agreed to undergo joint construction work in the aircraft industry, as Lukashenko insisted “there’s a lot we can do with cooperation” in the area.
He added he was grateful to his Russian counterpart for supporting Belarus in the face of external pressure on Minsk.
