Richard Lewis has now pleaded guilty to three counts of child sexual abuse, involving the rape of a 12 year old girl.
Court records show he was sentenced to 23 years in prison (33 total, with 23 in and 10 suspended).
Richard Lewis was a family friend and started talking to the girl on snapchat and it turned flirtatious then sexual and he requested photos from her.
It says it started with him rubbing her leg while watching movies or playing video games and progressed from there.
It says the girl said she didn’t know what to do, so she didn’t tell anyone.
It says police were called when a family member walked in and witnessed Lewis having sex with the girl. She told investigators it had happened before.
This is now a conviction.
