Scuffles broke out as police struggled to contain a crowd of people confronting the Conservative Cabinet member.
Footage shows the crowd chanting “Do your job” as a visibly concerned Gove was targeted by the protesters.
The incident comes less than a week after MP Sir David Amess was stabbed to death at his constituency surgery in Essex.
