Police say a teenage girl has died after being stabbed in the neck near the 46th Street-Bliss subway station in Sunnyside, Queens on Wednesday night.
According to authorities, they found Rivera with a stab wound in her neck. She was taken to Elmhurst Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.Â
The 15-year-old girl is facing charges of second-degree murder and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Police say that on at around 9:25 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to a 911 call reporting a stabbing victim near the 46th Street–Bliss Street subway station entrance in Sunnyside.
The victim has been identified as Sara Rivera.
