Police in Bloomington say at least seven people were injured in a shooting early Sunday morning
At least seven people were injured early Sunday morning in a mass shooting near the Indiana University campus in Bloomington during homecoming weekend.
It’s believed there was a fight in the crowd immediately before the shooting, WTHR reported.
Officers heard “multiple gunshots” amid a large crowd and later saw a man with a gun running from the scene at around 1:30 a.m., according to Bloomington Deputy Chief of Police Ryan Pedigo.
Cops are working to learn whether there were any other people injured in the chaos who are yet to report.
The victims’ conditions are currently unknown, but no deaths have been reported, Pedigo said.
