Police chief for Depew is charged with lewd/indecent acts to a child under 16 and having meth

A former assistant police chief for Depew is charged with lewd/indecent acts to a child under 16 and having meth and cocaine.

The charges against Jonathan Diehl were filed in Cleveland County on April 1st.
-Reports say a witness called police after finding a live feed on Diehl’s phone, showing the inside of a teenager’s bedroom.

It says the witness found drill holes in the bedroom ceiling.
Documents show officers found some meth and cocaine inside Diehl’s truck as well.

The DePew Police Chief says Diehl didn’t work there very long and was suspended immediately, then, terminated the following day.
