Pfizer expecting to sell $36 BILLION worth of Covid vaccine this year
The drug company says it will sell $36 billion of its Coronavirus vaccine this year – that’s 7% higher than what Pfizer forecast in July, the New York Post reported.
According to Pfizer, global vaccine sales could hit the $29 billion mark, or more, in 2022. The company expects to see revenue from 1.7 billion to 4 billion doses in that year.
Meanwhile, a regional Pfizer boss has called out the company for falsifying data, unblinded patient tests and being slow to follow up “adverse events” during phase III vaccine trials, according to the British Medical Journal.
