A man who was shot several times in a vacant Englewood lot on Wednesday has been identified.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office identified Jashawn Forest, 20, and ruled his death a homicide.
Forest was discovered on February 21 in the 5700 block of South May, shortly before midnight, according to police. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he eventually died.
