A man was shot multiple times on a sidewalk in the Woodlawn neighborhood on Monday morning.
According to police, the 62-year-old was standing on the sidewalk around 4 a.m. when a male approached and began shooting in the 6300 block of South Eberhart Avenue.
The victim was shot in the arm and leg and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in fair condition by paramedics.
As Area One detectives conduct their investigation, no one is in custody.
