A man was shot and killed on a sidewalk in Chicago’s Chatham neighborhood on Sunday night.
The 28-year-old was walking in the 7900 block of South Drexel Avenue around 10:30 p.m. when occupants in a gray SUV began shooting, according to police.
According to police, the victim was struck several times throughout his body and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not yet identified him.
As Area Two detectives conduct their investigation, no one is in custody.
