Man killed after dispute with locksmith on the west side: Texas
MAN KILLED AFTER DISPUTE WITH LOCKSMITH ON WESTSIDE – A man is dead following a shooting this afternoon in the 1900 block of Secretariat near Martin Street in Corpus Christi.
According to police, a locksmith was at the residence performing a service when an argument broke out between someone at the home and the locksmith. The dispute escalated and gunfire was exchanged.
At least a dozen shell casings were visible at the scene.
Police detained the homeowner and witnesses as detectives work to determine what led to the shooting. No charges have been announced at this time.
The investigation remains ongoing.
