A 61 year old woman was found dead behind a business in West Tulsa.

A Tulsa man has been charged with unlawful removal of a dead body.

The arrest report for Dominic Martinez says he was caught on video driving his car to the area where the woman was found and removing something from the passenger side of his car and slowly walking to the spot where she was found.

It says his car got stuck in the sand and it took him some time to get it free.
It says some papers found in the woman’s clothing, was connected to Martinez.

It says Martinez told investigators, he was flagged down by a man and woman who asked for a ride and directed him to that location and they got high and when he woke up, the man and woman were gone and since his car was stuck, he walked home and later called a wrecker.

It says that is not what is shown on video.

It says the medical examiner hasn’t determined a cause and manner of death for the woman yet.

A close friend of the woman tells me the woman had COPD and got sick a lot and was taken to OSU Medical, but, somehow left and on Saturday, showed up at the friend’s house, wearing only a hospital gown and socks.

The friend tells me she took the woman back to the hospital and watched her walk through the doors to go inside.

The friend says on Monday, deputies notified her of the woman’s death.
