Man charged in North Side police shooting after condo board president fatally shot

A 38-year-old Chicago man faces several charges, including murder and aggravated assault against a peace officer, after a North Side police shooting earlier this week.

Jonathan Wilson has been charged with first-degree murder, being a felon possessing a weapon, aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon and aggravated assault against a peace officer in the Monday incident.

Wilson was arrested in the 1400-block of Argyle Street in Uptown, after fatally shooting a 63-year-old man in the 4800-block of North Clark Street, police said.

He also pointed a gun at officers, and was shot, police said.
