Police arrest a homeless man accused of attacking a brother and sister with a metal wrench and a metal pole.
The probable cause affidavit for Joseph Young says on April 13th, the victims were in a field when Young approached them and started calling them names, then left but came back an hour later with a wrench.
It says Young seemed intoxicated and hit the brother in the head with the wrench and as the victim took off running, Young threw the wrench and hit the victim in the head again.
It says Young grabbed a metal pole and hit the sister, knocking her to the ground, then hit her again while she was down.
Records show Young was charged with misdemeanor assault and battery in Tulsa County last August and that case is going through the system, after Young refused to participate in the misdemeanor diversion program.
