Madagascar’s police state sec. swam to shore for half a day – after his helicopter crashed inspecting a fatal shipwreck off the island’s northeast coast.
Serge Gelle made land on Tuesday before declaring, “my time to die hasn’t come yet.” Two other passengers on board remain missing.
Local reports say the death toll from the catastrophe being inspected has now reached at least 60 people.
