A Kentucky man is charged with rape in Tulsa.

The probable cause affidavit for 33-year-old Evan Broome says he came to Tulsa in February of 2023 to visit a 19-year-old woman, after connecting on social media and learning they were half-siblings.

It says while he was here, he raped the victim, despite her repeatedly telling him no.
She was granted a protective order against him in March of 2023.

It says local law enforcement there had tried to serve the PO to Broome every month with no luck, causing the protective order hearing to be postponed at least 9 times.

Detectives requested the warrant be served on Broome so he could be extradited to Tulsa to face the rape charge.

He has been booked into the Tulsa County jail.
