Kaitlyn Hintz principal at Bonduel High School in Wisconsin arrested on sexual assault of a child, second-degree child sexual assault
According to a criminal complaint obtained by WFRV, officers received an anonymous tip on October 16 regarding Bonduel High/Middle School associate principal Kaitlyn Hintz allegedly being engaged in a sexual relationship with a high school student, which included encounters between the two at the principal’s home, parking lots, and other locations in and out of the school.
An investigation began, which led to an interview with the student; she admitted to having a relationship that was romantic and sexual in nature with Hintz that lasted over two years, with the two traveling together to various locations.
Officers took the student’s cell phone and searched it for evidence, and they interviewed Hintz, who had already been told by the district Superintendent to stay home for the day.
Hintz admitted to having a relationship with the victim, but one that wasn’t romantic or sexual in nature, but rather supportive regarding mental health needs. Hintz also revealed she exchanged phone numbers with the student and went to her home to pick the student up on multiple occasions.
According to court records, Hintz’s bond is set at $500,000, and she has a preliminary hearing scheduled for October 27.
One message from Hintz reportedly read:“Your girlfriend thinks you’re the best, and good night. I love you.”
A judge set her bond at $500,000.
