Judge in Ghislaine Maxwell case orders inquiry into juror who lied about sexual abuse
Judge Alison Nathan has ordered Juror 50 to “give testimony under oath in response to the Court’s questions” at a hearing on 8 March.
Lawyers for Ghislaine Maxwell accuse the juror, known as Scotty David, of not truthfully answering pre-trial questions that may have “corrupted” the outcome and make it necessary to hold a new trial.
Some reports calls for an initial retrial have been shunned.
