Gazprom and Moldova agree to extend supply contract for five years despite debt for already delivered gas — report
Deliveries on the five-year deal will begin on November 1, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development of Moldova said Friday.
According to Gazprom, Moldova’s debt for already delivered gas stands at $433 million ($709 million with overdue payments), but said the new contract was extended on mutually beneficial terms.
