Evergrande Shares Resume Trading After Monday’s Suspension
China’s property giant had halted activity on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, after it was reportedly told to demolish dozens of buildings in Hainan.
Shares are however back on the rise again this Tuesday, up initially 10% but slightly back down, after a year in which its market value plunged almost 90%.
The Ocean Flower Island project in Hainan’s Danzhou City will continue, despite authorities giving the order to rip down 39 buildings still under construction.
