The Italian luxury brand has announced plans to drop using animal fur in its products from this year on.
“Dolce & Gabbana is working toward a more sustainable future that can’t contemplate the use of animal fur,” the communication and marketing officer said.
The company plans to use “eco-fur” garments and accessories moving forward.
It comes after decades of PETA campaigns against the brand. Last week the organization also took a swipe at the Queen’s guard for still using fur taken from “slaughtered bears”.
