Damage was reported across Oklahoma as severe storms, bringing tornadoes, large hail and destructive wind moved through the state on Monday night into Tuesday morning.

The Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management provided an update on the storms, saying the State Emergency Operations Center remains activated due to the impacts of recent storms.

The Osage County Sheriff’s Office told Tulsa-area television station Fox 23 that a person died after the severe storms hit Barnsdall. Information about the victim has not been released.

OEM officials said in their weather update that five injuries were reported in the Bartlesville and Washington County area.

Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management is asking residents impacted by the storms to report damages to their property at damage.ok.gov.
