Considered armed and dangerous: Warrant for felonious assault was issued for his arrest
Columbus Police officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of La Vista Dr. on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival officers made contact with a victim, who had gunshot wounds to his lower body.
The victim was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive his injuries. Detectives identified Rommel Stepney as the suspect in this shooting.
A warrant for Felonious Assault was issued for his arrest.
Anyone with information on Mr. Stepney’s whereabouts is asked to call 614-645-4545 or 911. Mr. Stepney should be considered armed and dangerous.
