Pfizer whistleblower has raised the alarm that Pfizer workers were offered a “separate and distinct” COVID vaccine.

“I am pleased to inform you that we will begin offering COVID-19 vaccinations to eligible on-site essential colleagues and contractors over the next several weeks.

Eligible on-site essential contractors will be notified, either by e-mail or by their Pfizer sponsor, and will receive instructions for registering for an on-site appointment as well.

“The vaccine doses to be used for this program are separate and distinct from those committed by Pfizer to governments around the world and will not impact supply to national governments in any way,” reads the leaked email.

The IRS Will Now Target Individuals Who Threaten the u.s. Government’s ‘Ability To Govern’, Including Protesters of ‘Foreign Relations’ Under Guise of ‘National Security’

The IRS will now target individuals who threaten the U.S. government’s ‘ability to govern,’ a vague new criterion for criminal investigations.

This includes protesters of ‘foreign relations’ under the guise of ‘national security,’ according to its updated operating manual.

According to the IRS, ‘national security’ refers to “The national defense or foreign relations of the U.S. and includes, within a Treasury context, U.S. economic vitality, global competitiveness, market sensitivity, and tracking terrorist assets/financial crimes.”  https://irs.gov/irm/part10/irm_10-009-001

Meaning the IRS is expanding its scope to include a broad range of individuals, potentially including Americans protesting their government’s foreign relations to day traders, in its investigative efforts.

Wendy’s has a midweek pick-me-up for the rest of 2024.

Customers can score free six-piece nuggets on “Wendy’s Wednesdays” through the end of the year. All fans have to do is make a purchase of any price, on the fast food restaurant’s app or online, to snag the freebie.

Wednesday isn’t the only day for free food at Wendy’s. Every Friday, fans can score any size French fries for free with any purchase. The deal started on April 19 and will also continue until the end of 2024.

Customers can find the offer in the Wendy’s app every Friday. Like with the nuggets, there is no purchase price minimum and the promo can be used in a mobile order or in-store if you load the offer onto your card before paying.

If six nuggets aren’t enough to satisfy your cravings then Wendy’s has just the thing for you.

On May 8, the chain introduced the Nuggs Party Pack, a 50-count package of regular or spicy chicken nuggets, for $15.

The supersized nugget pack is widely available but to ensure that your local spot has the Nuggs Party Pack, the chain launched a chicken nugget locator — called wendysnuggparty.com — to direct fans to the nearest participating Wendy’s.

Plus, in honor of the launch of the Nuggs Party Pack, customers can score $3 off any purchase of $15 or more using the offer found in the Wendy’s app.

Strains of the influenza virus that primarily infect birds, but can also infect humans.

This type of flu is most often contracted by contact with sick birds. It can also be passed from person to person.

Symptoms begin within two to eight days, and can seem like the common flu. Cough, fever, sore throat, muscle aches, headache, and shortness of breath may occur.

The commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said at a congressional hearing Wednesday the agency is preparing for the possibility the strain of avian influenza affecting dairy cattle could jump to humans, though he cautioned the probability is low.

Robert Califf told senators on the panel in charge of his agency’s funding that top officials from the FDA, Agriculture Department and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are speaking daily to keep a handle on the situation.

He also stressed that pasteurized milk is safe.

“This virus, like all viruses, is mutating,” Califf said. “We need to continue to prepare for the possibility that it might jump to humans.”

Califf told senators that the “real worry is that it will jump to the human lungs where, when that has happened in other parts of the world for brief outbreaks, the mortality rate has been 25%.”

Some 70 people in Colorado are being monitored for bird flu due to potential exposure, and will be tested for the virus if they show any symptoms, the Colorado Department of Public Health told Forbes—it was not immediately clear how or when the people were potentially exposed.

The CDC warns against eating raw meat or eggs infected with bird flu because of the possibility of transmission.

However, no human has ever been infected with bird flu from eating properly prepared and cooked meat, according to the agency.

The possibility of infected meat entering the food supply is “extremely low” due to rigorous inspection, so properly handled and cooked meat is safe to eat, according to the USDA.

To know when meat is properly cooked, whole beef cuts must be cooked to an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit, ground meat must be 160 degrees and poultry must be cooked to 165 degrees.

Rare and medium rare steaks fall below this temperature.

Israeli Tanks Seen Close to Rafah Border Crossing: Egyptian Official

A Palestinian security official and an Egyptian official say Israeli tanks have approached Rafah, and reached as close as 200 yards from the crossing with neighboring Egypt, reports Associated Press.

It’s understood that area where the tanks are is on the outskirts of Rafah, in southern Gaza.

The Egyptian official said the operation appeared to be limited in scope, the AP reported. The news agency could not independently verify the scope of the operation.

The Israeli military declined to comment and the Guardian has not been able to independently verified the reports.

The Egyptian official, located across the border from Rafah, and the Palestinian security official spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the press.

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla told Fox Business on Wednesday (May 1) that the company expects to score big on “blockbuster” cancer drugs now that the COVID-19 crisis is over and the global demand for its vaccines and COVID drugs is falling.

In the interview, Bourla praised the measures as a “very good cost containment” campaign, crediting it for the “very good results” his company showed in early 2024. Pfizer is also on the verge of striking gold again with its new strategy, he said.

“Oncology, it is our new Covid,” the Pfizer CEO said. “We did what we did with Covid. We are very proud to have saved the world but it is behind us now. We want to do [it] once more and I think oncology is our best chance to do it.”

500 times faster than 5g! Japanese companies unveil 6g internet that can stream 5 HD movies at once.

A consortium of Japanese companies — DOCOMO, NTT, NEC and Fujitsu — have scripted history after unveiling one of the world’s first high-speed 6G wireless devices. And boy, is it a doozy and a half!

This groundbreaking device boasts a mind-bending data transmission speeds of 100 gigabits per second (Gbps), eclipsing its 5G predecessor by a staggering 20 times.

Moreover, this is 500 times faster than current 5G speeds, akin to transferring five HD movies every second!

For reference, most new smartphones are 5G-equipped, with average internet speeds ranging around 200 megabits per second (Mbps) in the United States.

Theoretically, advancements in the 5G can pump its speeds up to a maximum of 10 Gbps, which would still be ten times slower than the speeds achieved in these nascent 6G experiments.

Such fantastic feats are possible because, unlike 5G which primarily operates within the lower frequency bands, 6G harnesses the untapped potential of higher-frequency bands between 100 GHz and 300 GHz.

While information can be transferred faster at these new bands, environmental factors can be more of a nuisance affecting the flow of data, especially indoors.

However, this step up into new bands requires new infrastructure, meaning it will be a while before 6G can be usable for the general public.

But once set up, it could pave the way for more revolutionary tech, such as mixed reality and enhanced virtual reality.

As the world eagerly anticipates the widespread adoption of 6G technology, Japan’s pioneering efforts stand as a testament to human ingenuity and the relentless pursuit of innovation in the digital age.

The warnings from restaurants such as Firehouse Subs, local delis and others are generally bona fide, as both the U.S. Department of Agriculture and experts from North Carolina State University say that the combination of reliance on imports and extreme weather could impact supplies.

“There indeed has been a shortage in pickling cucumbers, and it has to do with reduced supply from Mexico,” Jonathan Schultheis, a professor in horticultural science at N.C. State University, told FOX Weather.

“In certain growing regions, it has been too hot (100 °F), which reduces yields. In other key production regions in Mexico, it has been too cold.

The crop has not suffered from freezes but temperatures that do not promote pickling cucumber growth.”

Every year, Americans consume more than 20 billion pickles, but recently, consumers have noticed some restaurants warning of a “national pickle shortage.”

Annually, the U.S. imports over a million tons of fresh cucumbers, with around 75% coming from Mexico, but imports may be off by at least 7%, according to USDA estimates.

A climate cycle known as El Niño has led to extreme weather across Mexico’s 31 states.

Generally, the warm water in the central and eastern Pacific causes increased rainfall and cooler conditions over the winter and warm, dry heat over the summer.

Pickling cucumbers grow best when temperatures are between 70 °F to 90 °F, but a constant has been relatively hard to find.

In a successful test flight, a US fighter jet enabled by artificial intelligence (AI) made history this week. It’s causing concern in some quarters.

Inside classified simulators and buildings with layers of shielding against surveillance, a new test-pilot generation is training AI agents to fly in war.

Kendall traveled here to see AI fly in real-time and make a public statement of confidence in its future role in air combat.

“It’s a security risk not to have it. At this point, we have to have it,” Kendall said in an interview with The Associated Press after he landed.

The AP, along with American broadcaster NBC, was granted permission to witness the secret flight on the condition that it would not be reported until it was complete because of operational security concerns.

The AI-controlled F-16, called Vista, flew Kendall in lightning-fast maneuvers at more than 550 miles an hour, putting pressure on his body at five times the force of gravity.

It went nearly nose to nose with a second human-piloted F-16 as both aircraft raced within 1,000 feet (304 m) of each other, twisting and looping to try to force their opponent into vulnerable positions.

At the end of the hour-long flight, Kendall climbed out of the cockpit grinning. He said he’d seen enough during his flight that he’d trust this still-learning AI with the ability to decide whether or not to launch weapons in war.

There is, however, a lot of opposition to that idea.

Arms control experts and humanitarian groups are deeply concerned that AI one day might be able to autonomously drop bombs that kill people without further human consultation, and they are seeking greater restrictions on its use.

“There are widespread and serious concerns about ceding life-and-death decisions to sensors and software,” the International Committee of the Red Cross has warned.

Autonomous weapons “are an immediate cause of concern and demand an urgent, international political response”.

Kendall said there will always be human oversight in the system when weapons are used.

The military’s shift to AI-enabled planes is driven by security, cost, and strategic capability.

If the US and China should end up in conflict, for example, today’s Air Force fleet of expensive, manned fighters will be vulnerable because of gains on both sides in electronic warfare, space, and air defense systems.

China’s air force is on pace to outnumber the US and it is also amassing a fleet of flying unmanned weapons.

Future war scenarios envision swarms of American unmanned aircraft providing an advance attack on enemy defenses to give the US the ability to penetrate enemy airspace without high risk to pilot lives.

But the shift is also driven by money. The US Air Force is still hampered by production delays and cost overruns for its F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, which will cost an estimated $1.7 trillion (€1.5 trillion).
