• Body Of Missing 16-Year-Old Autistic Boy Found

Georgia officials confirm the body of 16-year-old Connor Mathis was found Tuesday afternoon.

Jekyll Island Fire & EMS made the announcement in a social media post at 2:40 p.m.

“We appreciate the community’s significant support in assisting with the search, and all of the search and rescue support provided by the local, county, and state officials and agencies regionally,” the post read, in part.

“We extend our condolences to the family and to all those in our community who knew Connor and are heartbroken about the loss of this young life.”
