The boy described the man as heavyset, white and wearing a blue ball cap. Police say the man drove up to the boy in a black sedan and said “Get in my car.”
The boy ran off and told an adult. The child is safe and police have increased patrols in the area and are looking for any possible video that may show the driver.
Police say they are investigating after a 9-year-old boy in Georgia said he was approached by a man at a playground who told him to get in his car.
It happened Saturday afternoon in Johns Creek at the St. Ives Country Club playground.
